Tara let's sa Tipi Joint!

The weather forecast announced that it would be rainy the whole day of June 25th and 26th, and yet, the heavens were pleasant to us. Mr. Sun smiled at us.

It had been 13 years since I set foot in Zambales. That's why, when my name was luckily picked from Tipi Joint's giveaway, I didn't hesitate to grab the chance. I planned to avail myself of my prize last May, but unfortunately, on the days that I booked for overnight, I was sick and there was a typhoon. I am so glad that they allowed me to rebook my stay for a later month.

With my lovely cousin, we rode on the Victory Liner (via Iba) to Cabangan. The fare was 416 PHP each. It was raining while we were on the way, but we were still optimistic that it would be sunny the next day.

Alas! When we arrived at Zambales, there was no rain. Yet, the bus passed by the supposed tricycle station where we should drop off. We paid a special tricycle fare of 50 PHP to go to Tipi Joint.

But nonetheless, it was worth the trip when we finally came.

It looked like we rented the whole place because we were the only guests!  Yay!

We ate a late lunch, then rested before we put our things in the Tipi Hut where we were going to stay.

Look inside...

It appeared to be so comfy that I would rather rest, but my cousin tagged me to see the beach, which is only five minutes walk away.

There were few people when we reached it, and we waited for the sunset. It was a beautiful scene to witness after a long ride.

We got back to the hut before the darkness fell. It rained at night, and we were grateful for good sleep.

When the morning came, my cousin and I finally dipped into the water!

It was Monday. There were a few locals that we saw, and the other tourists probably went home, so we truly enjoyed swimming by ourselves in the Philippine Sea.

The weather was very nice to us.

Before eleven in the morning, though, we had to check out.

Our yummy breakfast

Unlimited iced tea

It was a sweet but short stay at Tipi Joint, yet the ambiance and the hut in which we stayed gave us a lovely and unforgettable experience.

Thank you for being very accommodating, Tipi Joint team!  Up until we got back to Manila, they surely checked on us. Hopefully, we will be able to come back soon.
